Feel like I might have a sinus infection coming on, have had a cold for a few days but the pressure around my sinus is becoming more painful, how long did it take you to tell the difference between, fibro pain and actual pain that might need attention
If its something new I can't tell if it's fibro or gout or asthma or something else. For awhile I suffered from costocondritis ( my mom died of a heart attack) scary time but if you have it regularly you begin to know. My asthma makes me exhausted but so does fibro. My husband gets so frustrated because I don't even consider my inhaler until I can't breathe and start to panic. It's all a learning curve. A good doctor and awesome husband is what helps me.
I take allergy pills daily, no allergies but a constant cold feeling. like it is coming on, but never fully gets there. have done this for years. always getting sick but never fully getting it.
I cannot tell my fibro pain from other types of pain. This is one of the very frustrating things with fibro. It causes me great anxiety. I even had my appendix burst because I thought the abdominal pain was fibro pain. My suggestion is that if the pain is not "normal" or familiar to you, get it checked out by a doctor. Gentle hugs.
I still cannot tell the difference between fibro pain and if it's something else.
