Does anyone else have fibro knots on their legs that swell up and hurt when you are having a flare.

Magnesium helps for the type of pain you are describing BrendaShawClark. In fibro magnesium levels are often low and supplementation is needed. SherryGlass I get knots all over but mainly in my back, shoulders and arms. Massage is helpful. You can purchase foam rollers and look on u tube where you can find how to use them. Since they are in your legs I have found it helpful to apply firm pressure to the knots with my fingers are heel of the hand for about thirty seconds and repeat several times. This will often help to release the knot.

I get knots in my shoulder. I was instructed by a physical therapist I saw several years ago, to use a tennis ball to massage it out. I would go with what @A MyFibroTeam Member suggested on how to relieve yours in your legs.
