Fibro And Heartburn
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was just wondering if there is a connection between fibro and heartburn. I have not had heartburn in years and I am having a terrible bout of it. It is making it hard to sleep, eat , work.

I used to have terrible heartburn and gas. I'm now on Pepcid and am doing well. I still have a problem with gas. Any suggestions?

It's strange that you bring that up, because I've been noticing more bounce with heartburn and acid indigestion recently myself. Very gassy. I didn't even think that it could be possibly a symptom of FM. I'm not really on any medications for FM, other than gabapentin or neurontin and pain meds. My doctor did prescribe something I can't think of the name of it right now for abdominal issues... But nothing like lyrica. I'm curious if anybody else is taking Lyrica and if it's helped or the side effects are worse Sam actually helping.
