My doctor says low-dose neltrexone works great for Fibro. pain and symptoms. Has anyone tried it? What was your experience?
Thank you!
I was wondering if you found LDN worked?
Thank you so much! It will be about a month before I'm put on it but I will let you know what I findπ. Have a great weekend!
It's still up in the air for me as to weather the LDN works for me or not. I know it has helped others!
@A MyFibroTeam Member I wanted to send you some information my father just sent me from Dr. Whitaker M.D. He is the director of the Whitaker Wellness Institute, New Port Beach, California. He publishes a newsletter and he did discuss the use of LDN (low dose naltrexone).and an up and coming therapy HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) presented by Israeli researchers. Both studies appear in the October 2013;65(10 supplement) Arthritis & Rheumatism periodical: S464-465. If you want to read Dr Whitaker's newsletter visit drwhitaker.com. The newsletter is May 2014, Vol. 24, No 5. I found it very interesting and wanted to check any new research myself! Would be very interested in what you learn too!
It's not available from my GP on the South of Edinburgh. Although I have heard that it works really well and is available to buy online. I feel bad enough that I don't want to take a medication like that which is unregulated....
