Hip Pain
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

What's the deal with our hips? I have his pain and my doctor seems to think it's arthritis, but from reading some of the questions on here it seems others have hip pain as well!

Wow. I'm so amazed at how similar all everyone's story is so much like mine. I get the same problem with my shoulders. I'm sleeping and within an hour or so I have to roll over because my hips and or shoulder hurts. Then I'm turning over again and again again because both sides are affected. If I try sleeping on my back I'll get back pain and or my arms fall asleep. It's maddening because you're so extremely tired but you pretty much know your going to be facing another night of pain and frustration. I just joined this page today and it's the first time in my life I don't feel like I'm the only one in this world living my own personal nightmare. Other people just don't get it. 😞 I'm continuing to pray for relief and a cure for all of us.

I was going to respond but Tammy pretty much said it all. I did injure my entire back by falling a fee years ago. My doctor says that the fibro tends to magnify our past injuries too.

I'm also new to this page! Everyone here understands and helps in anyway they can... it's a great place to be... it should say "my fibro family" because everyone here's battling the same battle!

Morehope, that's where mine hurt! It's like the inside of my hips -almost like somethings in there stretching them apart!

I definitely toss and turn less with the sleep number, but I still do a little. I have a C PAP machine that I can't use because most of the time I sleep on my stomach, and it's impossible to sleep with the mask on my face, but I still sleep better on the bed... if you want to look at one, it's really easy, just go to sleepnumber.com is their website I think. They have all sorts of options now, including ones where the head and feet raise up.
