Has Anyone Tried Prolotherapy?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

The pain doctor suggested I consider prolotherapy. Just started researching it and would appreciate any opinions. Thanks

I tried it about 3 years ago. I had 7 treatments and it did not work at all for me....and it hurt like hell. The shots are bad enough, but the next 2 or 3 days i was so sore and bruised I could hardly walk. But, everyone is different, it might work great for you. If, in my opinion, you don't notice anything improving by 3 or 4 treatments I would stop. My Dr. said his wife had prolotherapy treatments on her neck, and it worked great for her.

@A MyFibroTeam Member. I had 3 treatments of the D5W injections all along my neck and back. The needle was so small I hardly felt it. Ask what doctor is going to inject and size of needle before you sign up.
