Savella has been the best med for my exhaustion. The fatigue melted away on savella. It was a rough medication to get into...a full month of nausea and I handful of side effects. So its probably not the BEST med on the market. But its right for me. I often say that Savella is the reason I am still working.

Gabapentin almost caused me my life. I had no desire to even get up in the mornings. It was terrifying and I still fight with Doctors who feel it is right for me. It is not right for me and like you said It could be right for others. I also gained 30 pounds on it. I will just take my Tramadols and Fish Oil .. and ibuprophen ...

Honestly I was doing a lot better on Lyrica but because of the cost and comparison I am giving Gabapentin a try. I mean let's be honest what might work for one person doesn't always work for another, even what might work for me this time may not work later in time. We all have to go through a trial and error period to figure out what works. And I refuse to pay money for a trial medicine anymore I'll except samples and that's what I had to do with Lyrica.
So frustrating. ..

I am having success with Gabapentin.

I fight with my nurse prac as well over not taking any prescriptions, it is a old battle, but for me completely worth it.
