Has anyone had any type of neck injection that helps?
I get trigger point injections but they say that they can't put them in the neck. I have pain meds and use heat. i need something that lasts. has anyone ever has a rizodamy ? Not sure of the spelling but I have heard about them. They burn the nerves in the neck. The Charleaston Pain Clinic has them????
I have degenerative disc disease inmy back and neck.Lately it goes from my mid back to the top of my spine.Having troubling walking and pain and tingling in my left side.Doctor will not do anything.Feeling so ill because i get dizziness and nausea and so so tired.
I will know lidocaine patches work for my dad's feet with his neuropathy. My neck was the main source of my pain, along with my hips.. I don't know what medication you are currently on,but I got bumped up to 90mg of cymabalta,_which doesn't work on it's own,but along with gabapentin,a lot of pain has been under control with that.
Yes, i had a rizonamy done on my neck years ago. Doc burn the nerve temporarily. It was the most excruciating pain i ever had. I said to myself i wull never get that again. I suffer from degenerative disc disease spinal stenosis bone spurs and osteoarthritis in my neck for more then 15 years. And doctors want to do it again but i refuse to. I do get spinal steroid injections quite often. The injections work great but not for long. Maybe 2 months without pain. So it might work for you better then it work for me. Good luck and gentle hugs my dear friend.
I do physical therapy for my neck I feel it's helpful.
That's sound so drastic around the brain stem like that. Be sure you get all the info you can on it. I got an internal pain pump 5 years ago and my neck pain went away. My pain now is in my arms and legs .The pump has helped quite a bit but I still have painful days just not as bad.
