Yoga helps. Stress reduction helps. A warm bath in epsom salts help. Distraction (focusing on something that keeps your mind off your pain) helps. Ask your doctor about ultram a non narcotic pain reliever that works well for many people. Gentle stretching, walking help. Keeping a positive outlook helps. Try everything and see what works best for you.

I do have pain medication however, I rarely use it which is probably the only reason I get it. My ex still has a chemical abuse problem. That's a big part of why I would rather hurt. instead of taking them. I do a lot of stretching and I dance as much as I can) while I do the dishes. The neighbors across the street must love that! I take tranadol and then if the pain is still breaking through I have to take Norco. I will be asking my doctor to raise the dose on the Norco next visit in two weeks.
