Has anyone been able to maintain a functional remission for very long? Years?
Yes for five years. Fibro and Chronic fatigue
That is the first time I have ever known anyone who had a remission from fibro, but you can have one for CFS. It stays in your blood and can become active at any time. The same with Ebstein Barr.
I haven't heard of anyone with fibromyalgia or any other autoimmune disease going into remission. There is no cure for them and the medical world is grasping at straws for anything that might give any type of relief.
I'm lucky if I can go a few days without pain.
