Prozac
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone take prozac for depression? If so does it help any with fibro symptoms? I am on day 8, of taking it. Have terrible depression and anxiety.

Antidepressants can take a few weeks before you feel the effects , but some can make you feel more depressed if this happens go back to your Dr and try something different, I'm on Ciprilex low dose it doesn't really help with the pain but I cry less now and am less anxious, give the Prozac time as it may work well for you

I started Prozac, for a second chance, just a few days ago. I'm ready for my fatigue to go bye-bye. I have no patience!!

Prozac didn't work for me it hiked up my anxiety and insomnia full force so I was miserable and had to come off of it. Never the less give it time and in time you'll know if its the right thing for you.
