My job would not transfer me back near family so I was forced into retirement at 55. I recommend NOT discussing any health with an employer. I was there 36 years.

I was denied accommodations too. And then my store management went after me to force me to quit. No breaks, heavy lifting, climbing ladders. I was even written up for being five minutes late right after they found out they couldn't write me up for an absence. Great company.

I agree, I was terminated after being on my job for 23 years, when my doctor and I tried to get me accommodations.
