I have had multiple test run and they come back as positive for mixed connective tissue disease with markers for lupus, R A and scleroderma with lupus being most predominant. I take a vitamin D supplement plus pacqunil(sp), along with Vicodin and flexeril. I know that meds help as I have tried to stop and became the most miserable person you can imagine. Between the other autoimmune disorders and fibromyalgia and restless legs and chronic fatigue I am at wits end. Does anyone know anything that⦠read more
I found mine initially through my rheumatologist and hematologist. I do take 50,000out of Vitamin D once a week...this is by prescription. Magnesium bisglycinate is the easiest absorbed.I also have found MSM taken with vitamin C is beneficial for nerve and connective tissue. Boswellia is a good anti-inflammatory. Hopefully this helps. I have found that after a month of drinking kambucha I no longer suffer from constipation and have less gas and bloating.
My big go to supplement that helps is curcumin 2x from stopagingnow.com. it is anti inflammatory and it has greatly reduced my pain and flare ups.been on it for two months and I won't stop taking it. I also take alphapur, xanthin, and a probiotic called biopur. Works for me.
@A MyFibroTeam Member Hi kick83, I found the supplements through an online newsletter I receive. The company is StopAgingNow.con. I like their products, made in USA and seems like they have quality processing. Also, best price I've found. I used to pay $50 for my probiotic at the health food store, I pay much less with these guys. I'm all about saving money.
Thanks...already do circuit also Vitamin D and magnesium. Plus I brew my own kambucha which is a natural live macrobiotic made .with organic black tea. I also take 300mg of Lyrica daily along with vicodin, flexril, paquinel, and ropineral for restless legs. I also have to take high doses of iron supplement due to chronic anemia (a whole different issue). I do take prednisone when having major flare, but it seems like I am going backwards. Of course, I have the age factor (70 years old) going on. It just not how I imagined my retirement...I am to independent and have difficulty accepting all of this.
Wishing you a pain free weekend. Be safe. Gentle hugs and positive energy coming to you.
Me too lori!! I am going to check them out!!! Thank you!
