Legs Give Out
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have numb/tingly, painful legs. I fall because of my legs. Back is a mess because of falls.

Try upping your magnesium to upper limit , also vitamin d at 4000 mgs ....this helped me a great deal.

Yes Vitamin D helps me also, again don't move faster than what is safe. We want you around for awhile longer.

No Honey, Vitimin D is not toxic at higher doses. I found this out when I read Dr. Murphry's book. I'm on 4000ms now. If it was indeed toxic, I'd have known by now! No, magnesium should be separate. If you can get the Under -the - tongue ones, they are the best. Health food store should have them. They are called mineral salts at my local store. The body and muscles need extra vitamins and minerals. I've learned this. We don't absorb them well. I'm doing well with just the extra vitamin D and magnesium..... I don't think this is a coincidence! Of course, every one is different ... but it should help.

What? Oh my...I attributed my falls to my back problems. Do other people have the same problems? And it's caused by Fibro?? I read that Vitamin D can be toxic if you take too much, isn't 4000 mgs considered too high of a dosage? I'm on 2000 mgs right now. Also, are you talking about the magnesium that comes in the calcium pills? or do you take it separate? Wow, I am learning so much! Thank you for all of the information!!
