I have osteoarthritis in both my thumb joint ...I get cortesone injections every few months....Got to the point couldn't shake the water of my hands without extreme pain...My ex cancelled my extended benefits so don't know if it will be covered. I also have bursitis in both hips and get injected there as well. doesn't take away all the pain but makes it more manageable.

I have suffered with migraines for years.... I have sleep apnea & osteoarthritis & fybromyalgia. Nightmares trying to get some relief... Feel for you all...

I have RA and Osteo Arthritis and refus meds. for them because of the side effects that to ME are more horrific than suffering through the pain. I take only Tylenol and use the heating pad when needed.. That's my choice. I imagine the severity of your RA and the pain and degenerative, bone loss or deforming speed of yours would help make your choice. Best of luck to you, it's a tough choice. Soft Hugs!

Hi,yes I have both,severe arthritis,they won't give me anything else,I'm on a lot of meds,but find Lyrica,and Cymbalta good,the later is very good for depression to.
Maybe you could have a chat with your doctor to see what's going on x
