My chiropractor has been trained in Neurologic Relief Center Technique which consists of applying pressure at specific points at the back of the skull. I am wondering if others have found chiropractic care and/or NRCT, more specifically, helpful.
Thanks! Fibro fog undermines my confidence and makes me doubt my intuition. Sending hugs your way too!
I love chiro!! 3_4x a week
I had Chiropractic treatment..I had what they call a buffalo hump on my neck..it was the size of a orange if not bigger. They said it was from tensing up from pain.tensing up from pain .it causes scar tissue to build up in that area...so he gave treatments for 6 months and its gone...but it was painful to go through..but I am glad I did it...it had gotten so bad couldnt even turn my head..left to right..felt like my head weighed 100 pounds...seemed my head was to heavy to carry...I kept doing way too much without resting.. was in denial of Fibromyalgia...kept doing everything like I was normal...which caused more pain..and in that are caused scar tissue to build up..I was very thankful they took it all away..!! ♥
Its hard for any treament when your in pain..thats for sure I had physical therapy once..mentioned to them not to use there fingers on my back to massage..told them pleeeeease use just your open palms...but they kept doing it so I walked out and never went back....just listen to your body..and if its too much that day..tell them..make another appointment ..or if they dont listen quit..(((( Hugs your way )))
Thanks @A MyFibroTeam Member for your response! NRCT isn't traditional chiropractic treatment but is now being combined with some spine adjustment, including my neck. It sounds like I need to be more patient. I was starting to get very discouraged.
