Muscle Swellijg
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is muscle swelling normal with fibromyalgia? I've had this in the past around my elbow and it came out of nowhere. Recently I also had it around my knee. Yesterday I worked out with a personal trainer and this morning the muscle near both of my elbows are swollen. Weird thing is it's not painful just like a puffy type of swollen.

Yes. You could have a swollen left knee and wake up the next day with that leg fine and your other knee is swollen. Don't try to make sense of it.It's impossible.

I am not sure if it was an injury that I can not remember having or if it is related to the fibro but I have had swelling around my knee for the past few days and a clicking that does not feel right. It is really uncomfortable and really sore.

Well of course I want to make sense of it don't we all with our symptoms? But today I'm very thankful that it's nothing worse like brain cancer or some other people's stories I've read about today. Fibromyalgia isn't fun but it def could be worse

Myofascial pain syndrome can run hand in hand with Fibro. Massage therapy can help a lot!

Yes I have had this happen. I soak in Epsom salt and it helped me. Hope this helps. Hugs
