Does Anyone See Lights Shooting Then They Get A Headache
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been seeing little shooting lights then I start feeling weird then the headache starts. Has anyone else ever experienced this before? I went to the er but they said they were migraines. But I don't think so.

From what my eye doctor says, these lights are called auras. I get them often and it is really annoying, especially when I have to drive or do something with my kids.

I agree with Melanie. They are called auras and I used to get them all the time before a migraine, what is really strange is when you get the lights, but no headache. My doctor said that is called an Occular Migraine. Definitely interesting stuff. They both seem to go along with Fibro in many cases. I hope you find some relief. Gentle Hugs!!

That sounds like something I have had. They diagnosed me with ocular migraines and followed by a migraine. Both are awful, especially back to back. I feel for you. Thankfully, I don't have them as often as I used to, but I have made so many changes to my health routine that I don't know which one helped.

At the onset of my fibro I would get these flashing lights that would be followed by migraines. It only latest for about 3 years. I have not had an episode since.

It could be atypical migraines. I have similar issues, which are caused by MS.
