I have found that my Neurologist is just as knowledgeable
and helpful . It took my too many years to find the right dr. so I won't tell you. Don't stop. It isn't dr. shopping when you don't have but one Rheum. at a time. It was my ex. they are a weird little bunch with a lot of weird little quirks and you have to find the one that will ask the quest.s and listen to the answers or you will not make any progress on your path to pain free days and that my new friend is what I believe we are all after. Sending a sky full of hugs and rays of sunshine your way, Ann in icy Tn.
they are supposed to treat autoimmune diseases, which is where they have classed fibro, and they can write scripts for pain meds. big laugh, i've seen two and they haven't helped me. i'm looking for an internal medicine dr. that knows how to treat fibro. wish me luck and i wish you luck
I gave tried those and they don't do anything but irritate.y muscles. More miserable after tens unit. Just cried
The rheumatologist diagnosed me and said can't do much more for you so I see a pain doc also which I have had best results with
I have not had any help at all from Rheum. drs, I am currently seeing a pain management specialist with a little better results.
